COVID 19 vaccine a real “game-changer” for STRiVE
Executives and Staff from STRiVE received their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The excitement was palpable! Executive Doug Sorter echoed this excitement saying the vaccine was “a game-changer!”
STRiVE is an organization that serves the community at large and more than 1,400 developmentally and intellectually disabled children and adults in Mesa County. Due to the nature of their work, it is of extreme importance that their safe from the spread of the virus. Yesterday was a step in securing that safety for not only them but the people they serve as well.
STRiVE gets Vaccinated for the Benefit of those they serve.
Strive, an organization that works with developmentally and intellectually disabled members of the community, was next in line to receive vaccines this week and Senior Vice President Douglas Sorter couldn’t hide the excitement Tuesday afternoon.
“It’s very exciting to be getting the vaccine. It’s an ongoing process and we are working are way through,” he said.
With more than 1,400 developmentally and intellectually disabled children and adults in the Mesa County that Strive supports, Sorter called the vaccine a real “game-changer” for the organization. Excerpt from Crossing the Finish Line
