Have You Completed A Milestone Checklist for Your Child?

Concerned about your child’s development? Complete a Milestone Checklist today!

According to MedLinePlus.gov,

Developmental disabilities are severe, long-term problems. They may be physical, such as blindness. They may affect mental ability, such as learning disabilities. Or the problem can be both physical and mental, such as Down syndrome. The problems are usually life-long, and can affect everyday living.

As a parent, we want the best for our children no matter what their ability level.

When it comes to developmental disabilities early detection is extremely beneficial for the child and the family!

If you’re concerned that your child may not be meeting the milestones for their age whether it’s speech or behavioral delays, don’t hesitate, finding out early will enable you to equip your child and family with the right tools for success before you encounter issues!

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention reminds parents that;

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children be screened for general development using standardized, validated tools at 9, 18, and 24 or 30 months and for autism at 18 and 24 months or whenever a parent or provider has a concern. Ask the doctor about your child’s developmental screening.

And they have a HUGE database of materials regarding Developmental Disabilities including;
