everal years ago, 5 mothers came together out of a desire to create technology supports for our children; we call ourselves Families at the Forefront of Technology  (www.familiesforefront.org), a program of the Arc of Colorado. Our format has been to hold an annual Conference in the Mountains of Colorado. In 2018, we are taking our e on the road thanks to a grant from the Coleman Institute for Cognitive Disabilitiescalled the Declaration Implementation Grant.  “The purpose of the Coleman Institute for Cognitive Disabilities is to catalyze and integrate advances in technology to promote the quality of life of people with cognitive disabilities…”  One such way is to support theDeclaration for: The Rights of People with Cognitive Disabilities to Technology and Information Access. Please take the time to visit the website and endorse the Declaration…

The Learning Labs, called “Yes I Can” are an opportunity for us to reach out to rural areas of the state and engage Direct Service Providers, Self Advocates and Families living with Intellectual/Cognitive/Developmental Disabilities.

We want to invite you and your teams to join us at Morgridge Commons in Glenwood Springs, CO (above the library) on Friday June 22 from 1-5pm to learn about how technology options can make a significant improvement in your lives.
